Understand: That by distilling lemongrass and citronella, we utilize two (2) of the three (3) by-products:

   1. the essential oil – used to scent perfumes, colognes, soaps, potpourris, massage oil, body oil, shampoo,  aromatherapy products – to name a few – as well as to remove the unpleasant odor of marinated beef, duck, chicken, pork, seashell, etc.;
   2. and the water distillate – also known as hydrosol or hydrolat or floral water, is the distilled water that contains the soluble contents and minerals of lemongrass.
   3. spent grass, or cooked grass – are currently used as fertilizers and for mulching. It can be used as an aromatic paper pulp and/or briquettes. The latter produces white ash than can also be used as fertilizers.

Our lemongrass plants remain organic, using only natural fertilizers to ensure healthy growth.
